We are the only supplier of national terrestrial television and radio broadcasting services in the UK, consistently delivering digital TV, analogue and digital radio to people in all four corners of the country. We also distribute over 1,000 channels internationally using our fibre and satellite infrastructure.
Our advanced, dedicated networks are also supporting the management of critical data and content for connected devices including smart TVs and smart meters for water, gas and electricity.
Location We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to their closest Arqiva office, either Winchester, Daventry, Chalfont or Emley Moor once or twice a week.

Key Accountabilities
Install, test, analyse, troubleshoot and modify new equipment/solutions to achieve maximum performance and availability
Provide technical knowledge to the development and deployment of service infrastructure, driving improved technical and service performance
Design and drive processes to facilitate smooth and seamless deployment of new services
Supervise the delivery of 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure that delivery specifications and standards meet Arqiva requirements
Standardise equipment to minimise disruption and achieve straightforward integration with existing networks/infrastructure
Document engineering build procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, processes and procedures
Apply standard procedures to solve problems and identify appropriate resolution
Adopt the role of Design Authority (DA) in area of expertise to ensure the delivery of the end to end customer solution and for less complex projects Lead Design Authority (LDA)
Drive innovation, both small and large, into and through the business; deploy and evidence with outcomes, a continuous improvement (CI) mind-set
Bring a commercial perspective to the operation, with a particular focus on cash management, cash preservation and optimising returns on investments made in assets and tools
Required Expertise
Working knowledge of the design, development and testing of bespoke and COTS (Common off the Shelf) software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise.
Experience with processes, standards and engineering practices related to monitoring and controlling (M&C).
Some experience of networking principles.
Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s)
Strong knowledge of technologies involved in Networking and Security.
