We are in search of seasoned Legal/Judicial contract professionals skilled in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote work as an Independent Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate verbatim transcripts of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
  • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to established style guides.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in all transcription work.
  • Collaborate with our in-office team for support as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening abilities and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong literacy skills, including spelling and grammar proficiency.
  • Ability to engage in remote collaboration effectively.
  • High typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
  • Capability to process potentially sensitive audio/text content.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
