About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early-Career Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone eager to launch their career in sales, build meaningful relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth. You’ll receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and the tools needed to succeed in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What you'll do
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met through The Channel Company’s solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Identify new business opportunities by researching prospects, understanding their goals, and presenting tailored solutions.
- Lead Generation: Qualify and nurture inbound leads while actively seeking out new prospects through outbound efforts.
- Pipeline Management: Use CRM tools to track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and account management teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales quotas and contribute to overall team success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience, with a strong interest in sales or customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, strategies, and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software and basic sales techniques is a plus.
- Media sales experience preferred.
