Position:

We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead to join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems as well as supporting a small team of senior therapists to deliver the service.

The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 per annum

40 hours per week Monday to Friday

We are looking for our new Deputy Clinical Lead to be a team player, communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing, time manage to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment and to be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems as well as supporting a small team of senior therapists to deliver the service.

  • Carry Line management to senior psychological therapists. Senior psychological therapists hold a clinical caseload and manage a small team of psychological therapists.
  • To support the Service lead and clinical operations manager to ensure that SLAs are maintained including managing capacity and ensure that staff utilisation is maintained at 90%
  • To support in recruitment, appointment, and coordination of inductions of new staff
  • To support senior therapists to achieve service KPIs along with ensuring session numbers and staff utilisation are managed.
  • Carry out mental health duty cover supporting with general queries, clinical report checks and risk escalation.
  • Ensure that audit feedback is disseminated into the senior therapist and improvement plans are implemented where necessary.

Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:

Qualifications:

  • Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Hold full BABCP accreditation having had their first audit with the BABCP

Experience:

  • Have a minimum of four years CBT experience in both virtual can face to face and virtual treatment in public or private healthcare.
  • Have previous experience of supervision or management of a small team.

Knowledge & Skills:

You will be computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Importantly you will be able to work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for your patients. Be able to effectively problem solve and prioritise. Communicate effectively and be able to effectively time manage to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment.
