Job description

Pomeroy's goal is to rapidly expand our Strategic Technical Staffing business across the US, Canada, and the globe. We are actively seeking experienced, motivated individuals to join our growing team and contribute to our ambitious expansion plans.

The Role

Seeking an energetic outside Sales Representative responsible for managing and growing our Strategic Technical Staffing business in the U.S. This person will assume the management of a few established accounts (up to 25%) but will be primarily responsible for generating new customers (75%).

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed assigned business objectives, specifically focused on Strategic IT Staffing Services Revenue and Gross Profit (GP) targets.
  • Act as the primary representative of Pomeroy's Strategic Technical Staffing Services to a dedicated customer base.
  • Proactively engage in cold calling activities to cultivate new business opportunities and expand the client portfolio.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate Pomeroy's service offerings and align them with the client's IT initiatives.
  • Utilize past experience and market knowledge to identify and cultivate potential customer leads, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive coverage plans by account, strategically aligning them with business goals.
  • Foster relationships to enhance market presence, facilitate lead generation, and coordinate account mapping and territory planning activities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), staffing quotes, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Collaborate closely with recruitment teams and other departments to drive targeted results and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Work in tandem with various teams to guarantee client satisfaction and maintain high standards of project execution.
