About you
The Sr. Proposal Manager is responsible for responding to new business development opportunities for the purpose of creating new relationships and generating revenue. This role will directly support the Occupier Services Sales Team, understanding the core business and creating customized messaging to differentiate Colliers in the market.
You will lead the development of RFI/RFP responses, working with sales leads, brokerage professionals, local/regional marketing teams, and graphic designers to write high-quality sales content and create winning proposals, presentations, and other materials. You will set the strategic direction for the proposal support function, championing the Colliers brand and culture within a competitive, deadline-driven environment. Working closely a multidisciplinary pursuit team, this role is a critical driver for Colliers’ ability to drive the business plan and attract and retain multi-market occupier clients.
In this role, you will
Work closely with business stakeholders, including sales leads, executives, and top producers, to evaluate and pursue new business opportunities.
Partnering with the sales team and brokers, lead the overall direction for new business pursuits, oversee strategy, content, creative direction, and deliverable development.
Provide strategic guidance, oversight, and relevant content to regional marketing teams for multi-market opportunities led out of the local markets.
Understand the network of marketing professionals across the U.S. and lead the resourcing plan for each opportunity, delegate tasks, and project manage the timeline for delivery.
Provide strategic advice to in-market resources—based on industry knowledge, research and analysis—to support business development opportunities.
Develop and manage schedules for all active projects.
Study client culture, mission statements, annual reports, websites, to customize differentiated BD strategies.
Develop compelling win themes and value propositions that position Colliers as an industry leader.
Continue to assess new ways to enhance organizational methods for streamlining the RFP process to ensure productivity is fluid and templates and content are readily accessible and stakeholder collaboration within documents flows.
In addition to responding to RFPs, help to track volume, generate reporting and play an active role developing growth plans for the department.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree, diploma, or undergraduate degree preferably in a marketing, communication, business, or real estate specialty.
5-8 years of relevant experience required to perform the role; CRE experience is an asset.
Outstanding proficiency authoring written proposal content, with excellent ability to write and edit English grammar in detail.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, InDesign experience a plus.
Ability to understand and translate complex concepts into compelling messaging.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with a focus on execution—consistently on time.
Positive attitude and ability to take up authority in gaining support, approvals, and input for creating winning proposals.
Excellent interpersonal and group communication skills, both written and verbal.
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $100,457 to $120,000.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. 12 weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
Bonus
This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
