The Körber Group is an international technology group with around 10,000 employees all over the world. It unites technologically leading companies with more than 100 production, service and sales locations and offers its customers solutions, products, and services in the Business Areas of Körber Digital, Logistics Systems, Pharma Systems and Tobacco.
The team
In 2020 the Körber Group started to unify their branding under a single name to communicate the brand message of entrepreneurial spirit even more clearly. As part of this endeavor, Körber decided to set up a Design System. This team has set up guidelines for the whole Körber Group on how to design new Software for mobile, web and machine interfaces. The Körber Design System has become its own product and is getting adopted on a high rate.
This team is based in Porto and closely with Körber companies all over the world.
The role
Right now, we are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our dev team.
In this role, you will improve and create high quality web components in the Körber brand to be used in all digital products of the Körber group.
Additionally, you will support and guide Körber developers using the Körber Design System to shape their products.
Responsibilities
Create and improve our web components with Lit.
Write unit tests (Coverage > 99%).
Work with our designers hand in hand to match the design specs.
Write helpful documentation for our adopters.
Engage with our user community of developers accross the group.
What You Bring To The Team
Excellent understanding of ES6+.
Experience in TypeScript.
Very good knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Strong attention to details and quality.
Experience in at least component based JS library, like React, Vue or Angular.
Nice to have: Web Components knowledge.
Nice to have: Experience in behaviour driven development.
Nice to have: Prior exposure to industrial/manufacturing domain.
Nice to have: Contributions to Open Source projects.
