The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000/year + Bonus

As a Client Services Analyst with Numerator, you’ll be a vital member of Numerator focusing on supporting a strategic Retail client via ad-hoc projects/custom analyses. Your responsibility is to guide client users to leverage our consumer panel set to execute and deliver analytical insights and recommendations to our customers. Other clients include Numerator’s Fortune 100 and fast-growing strategic customers that span CPG, Retail, Electronics, Durable Goods, and Quick-Serve Restaurants.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leverage Numerator’s proprietary consumer panel and resulting data to execute and deliver analytic insights and recommendations to Numerator's customers that drive increased sales and improved marketing effectiveness
  • Develop a deep understanding of Numerator data, solutions and services including their key differentiators versus legacy approaches and competing offerings
  • Guide client users on Numerator’s Insights business intelligence platform to navigate the system, interpret results, and design reports to answer their key business questions

What You'll Bring to Numerator

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or 1 or more years relevant experience
  • Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookup, xlookup) and basic SQL knowledge is desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly with customers or prospects present
  • Proven analytic skills: conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to derive results from insights
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts with comfort to ask clarifying questions if there is need for greater clarity
  • Strong attention to detail and proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner
  • Comfort with iterations on work and incorporating feedback as final presentations or solutions are developed for clients

Nice to Haves

  • Desire to develop relationships with clients to become a trusted and value-added business partner
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly with customers or prospects present
  • Working proficiency with SQL or programming languages like Python or R for data analysis
  • CPG or Retail experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights roles, or experience as a service provider to these functions
  • Understanding of both syndicated and household panel data (Nielsen and/or Circana)
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries (e.g., NIQ, Circana, Dunnhumby)
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence software such as Microstrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or Business Objects
  • Direct Retail Industry experience or education
