BCM Senior Associate

About the opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Associate to join our Business Continuity Management (BCM) team in Berlin. You'll play a key role in keeping our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) running smoothly and making sure we're always ready to tackle whatever comes our way.

In this role, you will:

• Mitigate Operational Risks: Utilize BCM’s incident response framework to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless operations during emergencies or crises.
• Enhance Preparedness: Strengthen N26's emergency and crisis response capabilities to effectively manage unforeseen events.
• Drive Alignment: Lead group-wide BCM alignment efforts for all time-critical processes to ensure consistent and effective business continuity across the organization.
• Promote Awareness: Foster a culture of resilience by ensuring all employees understand the importance of Business Continuity Management and their individual roles in maintaining operational stability.
• Ensure Compliance: Drive initiatives to ensure N26 meets all business continuity compliance requirements.

What you need to be successful:

• Working experience (1+ years) in the BCM/CISO field 
• Industry experience within Banking, Financial Services or Technology
• B.Tech. or B.Sc. CS (or higher)
• English language proficiency required, German is a plus
• Collaborative approach and analytical skills to problem solving
• Able to quickly understand business processes and communicate effectively with a wide range of business leaders
• Relevant certification (such as ISO22301 or BSI200-4) preferred
