Key Responsibilities

    • Support underwriters with administrative tasks, such as preparing renewal invitations, policy documentation, and updating client information.
    • Pre-populate rating models and assist in drafting policy terms and conditions.
    • Import and process renewal terms, and input new business opportunities into underwriting systems.
    • Finalise policy documents, including invoices, certificates, and policy wordings.
    • Ensure compliance with underwriting processes, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, and maintain accurate records.
    • Keep underwriting claims registers up-to-date, ensuring timely and accurate information.
    • Respond to broker inquiries related to underwriting, providing certificates, claims histories, and other requested details.

Knowledge and Skills Required

    • Previous experience in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting, is essential.
    • Tier 1 and 2 qualifications are preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; advanced IT skills are advantageous.
