We are seeking a polished and professional Virtual Event Facilitator with exceptional communication skills—particularly in a US/North American English accent—to host and manage online events. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth delivery, provide top-tier support for speakers and attendees, and maintain an engaging atmosphere throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct tech checks and dry runs with speakers prior to the event, ensuring familiarity with controls (mute/unmute, screen sharing, Q&A).
Outline housekeeping rules and best practices to speakers and participants.
Join the virtual event platform 30–60 minutes early to finalize audio/video setup.
Ensure all speakers are in the event at least 15 minutes beforehand and perform a final tech check.
Kick off the event and introduce speakers (if needed), providing a clear overview of the agenda.
Provide real-time tech support for both speakers and participants to resolve any audio/video or connectivity issues.
Moderate chat and Q&A sessions, ensuring participant engagement and respectful interactions.
Control and manage Microsoft Teams (or similar platform) features, including muting/unmuting, enabling/disabling video, and granting speaking permissions.
Execute additional platform-related tasks such as running polls, sharing content, and recording sessions.
Conclude the event with closing remarks, thank speakers and attendees (if required), and highlight any follow-up actions.
Distribute a feedback survey (if required) and compile participant insights for future improvements.

Proven Emceeing or Hosting Experience
Strong Organizational & Time-Management Skills
