B.I. Senior Analyst

As the BI Senior Analyst, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will collaborate & coordinate with the rest of the business including Operations, Marketing, Commercial, Retention, etc. You will be responsible for empowering the business to track success and facilitate all departments, but also inspire business stakeholders in making more data-driven decisions.

Your First 90 Days

• Assess the current reporting and metrics setup.
• Synthesize actionable improvements for immediate business impact.
• Conduct meetings to understand stakeholder needs and requirements.
• Examine data resources across multiple organizational functions.

Responsibilities

• Promote the usage of data and tools within the business.
• Create reports, dashboards, and self-service tools using platforms like Power BI, Data Studio, and Google Analytics.
• Define frameworks to measure success.
• Foster a test, learn, and improve culture.
• Evaluate departmental activities and recommend optimization strategies.
• Conduct acceptance testing for BI deliverables, including data integration and reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Background in iGaming.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and SQL.
• Experience with Google Big Query is a plus.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Data Studio.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL techniques, and data warehouse methodologies.
• Ability to build basic scripts (e.g., Python preferred).
• Knowledge of basic statistical techniques and financial metrics like ROI, profitability, and forecasting.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Passionate about analytics and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills to present information in layman’s terms.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
