IT Quality Assurance Engineer III wanted by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Leading medium to large projects and managing the project test plan and execution including assignments of other team members or an offshore team and facilitate user acceptance testing working closely with business leaders and representatives; Reporting on status of testing activities, quality metrics and issues to the larger organization including project managers and IT leadership; Facilitate user acceptance testing including coordinating test plans with business representatives, sharing best practices on test techniques, and reporting on progress and defects; Finding and reporting defects with detailed, accurate and concise steps to reproduce; Assisting developers in discovering and researching defects, and recommending system enhancements; Collaborating with leadership on department goals and implementing best practices and tools for quality assurance activities; Provide oversight to and mentor and coach QA Engineer I.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems (CIS) or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; 5 years of experience with automated test solutions, which experience should include experience with Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Perfecto, to assist in planning and executing project automation approaches on assigned projects; 5 years of experience with at least one scripting language (VBScript or JavaScript) or one programming language (Java) to assist in planning and executing test automation scripting on assigned projects; 5 years of experience with database structures and use of SQL for use in data validation test plans and execution; 3 years of experience across Test Strategies to enable ability to plan for testing activities on assigned projects; and 3 years of experience with reviewing and analyzing system/business requirements and identify test conditions/scenarios that validate those requirements for test case planning.
