Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development

Python:  Ideally the data science stack including scikit learn, pandas, numpy

Experience building a machine learning model used for tangible decision making (in a business context)

Experience using analytics to identify patterns in large dataset (in a business context)

Experience evaluating model performance in the context of business metrics (beyond AUC, precision, recall)

Basic SQL, reporting tools experience

Familiarity with JSON

Git or version control

Areas of Experience: Training machine learning models, analytics, model development


Description of the role:

This role will spend a lot of time using analytics and ETL to identify patterns in messy data. They will then use those insights to build machine learning models and analytics framing systems that solve business problems such as risk, price and entity resolution. They will spend a lot of time applying structure to messy data so that it can be used for modeling.

Remuneration:

Compensation in US dollars as contractor.
