Job description

Position Overview

RecruitGo is in search of a Graduate Bookkeeper based in the Philippines who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client is a bookkeeping and accounting services. They are an independent investment advisory firm that provides strategic and financial guidance to investors and corporates.

Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has effective time management and prioritization skills, strong communication skills, thorough attention to detail, and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

· Undertaking daily tasks in the Xero cloud accounting system

· Sending client expense invoices to Receipt Bank/Hubdoc for electronic processing

· Processing of invoices from Receipt Bank/Hubdoc into Xero

· Preparation of expense pay runs, including the provision of bank ABA file

· Processing of unreconciled bank transactions to the general ledger

· Raising client sales invoices as instructed

· Preparation and processing of wages, including maintenance of employee records

· Preparation and processing of employer superannuation obligations

· Processing of payroll data electronically to the ATO under Single Touch Payroll requirements

· Client debtor management, through the provision of automatic reminders and statements

· Preparation of manual journals in Xero

· Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including the provision of month-end journals

· Preparation of financial reports from Xero

· Undertaking of any processing with third-party integrated apps

· Any other data entry requirements as requested

Qualifications

· Intermediate/advanced MS Excel working skills

· Experience using (or if no experience familiarity with) cloud-based accounting Add On tools such as Dext, Deputy

· Effective time management and prioritization skills

· Strong communication skills

· Thorough attention to detail

· Strong customer focus

  • Salary: PHP 20,000 - PHP 23,000
