What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Thumbnail Designer or similar role.
• Deep understanding of virality and why pieces of content go viral on social media
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, design skills, and an understanding of thumbnails best practices.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of design principles and composition.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work with a variety of personalities across internal colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent judgement and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of social media.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and craft video-related visual assets that are eye catching, relevant and highly engaging.
• Adhering to the platform's dimensions, best practices, and policies.
• Ensure that thumbnails are visually appealing, engaging, and consistent with the brand and the social media platform’s guidelines.
• Collaborate with the video creative teams.
• Iterate and refine visual assets and designs based on feedback.
• Optimize thumbnails based on performance metrics.
• Brainstorm titles.
• Come up with thumbnail + title combos that build strong interest.
• Stay updated on current trends.
