Employment Logistics

The People Analyst serves as a core member of the HR operations team and is responsible for developing and providing insights to the HR Leadership team and other functional stakeholders. The person in this role will help spearhead and develop People Analytics at OnTrac. They will be leveraged to provide insights to help inform decisions that will drive our HR Initiatives and OnTrac strategic growth plan.

Qualifications

  • 4 – 6 years’ as a data analyst, concentration in HR and People analytics
  • Experience HRIS/HCM systems; Workday, Oracle HCM, Dayforce preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, SQL, Data Visualization, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong database experience and knowledge
  • Experience providing advanced HR reporting and analytics
  • Experience with conducting research using basic statistics (e.g., correlations, t-tests, regressions).

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and automate data and analytics solutions, and iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with teammates, business leaders, and stakeholders to provide insights and metrics to support projects and initiatives
  • Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights from data and connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using data from employee surveys, employment data, workforce data, and other sources.
  • Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
  • Provide training and support for HR and management on people analytics concepts and tools.
  • Use analytical reasoning to identify problems and develop hypotheses, often recommending an ongoing data product or metric to track performance.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies to work with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in people analytics and data analysis tools.
