Brown & Brown is seeking a Technology Education Specialist to join our growing team!
The Technology Education Specialist has experience in the insurance, technology, or training industry and is a Subject Matter Expert in one or more software applications. They research materials and methods, develop training, update existing training, establish curriculums, deliver teammate training, assess teammate performance and communicate with Leaders to ensure teammate success. This role leverages their expertise in insurance and/or training to work independently to deliver training programs and curriculum to support business objectives.
How You Will Contribute:
Onboard and train Retail teammates coming onto various applications and platforms.
Train teammates as lead and support in virtual instructor led and/or in-person courses, workshops, webinars, and one-on-one training (onsite and remote).
Determine training needs by listening to teammates, observing encounters, reviewing available data, and conferring with Team Leaders.
Work alongside the team to continually improve our training strategy by exploring new approaches and techniques.
Develop materials and tools through information gained by research, study, collaboration and assessment.
Optimize current processes and programs based upon feedback and expertise.
Collaborate in the creation and upkeep of materials and tools schedule.
Work closely with the team to ensure that all capabilities and processes are fully tested and verified prior to formal and informal training.
Keep up with the ever-changing demands of one or more software applications.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Experience in planning, developing and implementing communication and education programs/materials.
3+ years’ experience educating adult learners.
1+ years’ experience with MS Dynamics.
Able to travel 0-60%
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Creative approach to training and development of teammates.
Passionate and enthusiastic about teammate growth.
1+ year of experience with Benefits Account Management (BAM) (Preferred)
Master’s degree in relevant field (Preferred)
Proficient with all Office 365 products available to teammates (Preferred)
Knowledge of P&C and/or Employee Benefit coverage and processes (Preferred)
Prior experience in insurance management system training (Preferred)
Pay Range: 65- 70k Yearly

65000 - 70000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
