Your role, your impact
As a system administrator, you will report to the director of IT, architecture, infrastructure and operations. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and managing the company’s technical systems and infrastructure to meet business needs, covering offices and cloud services in Canada, the United States, France, and Morocco.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills through enterprise network and infrastructure services initiatives, providing hands-on implementation services and support as needed. Additionally, you may provide presales IT support during meetings with potential clients or partners.
Your day-to-day - Ensure:
- the deployment, management, and administration of operating workloads on Azure and AWS solutions (e.g., identity, governance, computing, virtual networks, storage, security controls, routing, hybrid Azure and AWS setup with on-premises infrastructure);
- cloud and on-premises infrastructure and network management;
- enterprise network and firewall management;
- the design, deployment and management of infrastructure and network services access within the organization;
- level 3 M365 deployment and management;
- Windows and Linux OS deployment management.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues, lead digital transformation projects, and assist with enterprise initiatives and acquisitions;
- Analyze requirements and technology environments;
- Design, build and manage solutions and technologies.
Keys to your success - 5 to 8 years of experience across various IT domains;
- Advanced knowledge of and expertise in:
- level 3 Azure infrastructure and services deployment and management, M365 management and AWS SysOps management;
- TCP/IP networking (routing, security, IPS/IDS, SD-WAN), ESX and HyperV;
- Storage, firewalls and routing;
- Windows and Linux OS deployment and management;
- PowerShell, VB Script and batch processing;
- hybrid infrastructure.
- Sound knowledge of security (principles, standards, tools, trends);
- Deep troubleshooting, analytical, project and resource management skills;
- Ability to explain complex technical details in simple terms and manage complex solutions.
Extra edge
- One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator and MCSE Certified;
- ITIL knowledge;
- Intermediate level of French.
