Job Description

As a Director at Perficient, you will be a pivotal leader in driving sales growth and advancing our global Product Development practice. This remote role, open to candidates across the United States, offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. Your primary focus will be on expanding our business by identifying new opportunities, deepening client relationships, and fostering strategic partnerships while delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Our Product Development team drives innovation by building digital solutions through a full end-to-end development process. Utilizing modern platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, we create customer-focused products, internal workflow tools, and mobile apps that elevate business operations across industries. With a clear focus on results and growth, our team is committed to doubling our global presence while delivering meaningful outcomes for renowned clients.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively participating in all phases of the sales cycle.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new Product Development offerings.
    • Identify and pursue new market segments and service offerings within the Product Development space.
    • Expand existing client relationships and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

  • Client Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including C-level executives.
    • Deeply understand client needs and identify growth opportunities.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their Product Development journeys.

  • Strategic Cloud Partnerships
    • Contribute to our AWS or GCP partner engagement strategy.
    • Help put together IP/offerings and GTM strategies.
    • Represent Perficient within the AWS or GCP ecosystem.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key AWS or GCP personnel.

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Provide strategic thought leadership for the Product Development practice, anticipating future market trends and identifying emerging opportunities.
    • Develop and execute plans to expand offerings and enhance client value.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
    • Demonstrate familiarity with GenAI tools and their potential to aid the SDLC.
    • Cultivate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and foster a culture of innovation within the team.

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of direct reports, providing career development and guidance.   
    • Recruit and retain top talent.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
    • Motivate and inspire colleagues.
    • Deliver impactful presentations to C-level executives.
    • Successfully manage, structure, and lead global delivery teams.

  • Delivery & Account Management:
    • Oversee delivery and account expansion for assigned clients.
    • Support pre-sales efforts to influence revenue.
    • Drive our channel strategy in partnership with the Cloud practice.
    • Focus on growth in Product Development specialties (e.g., full-stack development, custom software development, mobile development, product operating model).
    • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.   
    • Explore and advocate for the leveraging of AI in software experiences.
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, delivery, and/or practice leadership within the IT services industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Product Development space, preferably within the AWS or GCP ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of leading and delivering successful consulting engagements.
  • Proven experience as a senior project resource, leading and delivering complex enterprise solutions, including experience in designing and implementing custom software applications, cloud-native architectures, and scalable software solutions.
  • Strong domain expertise with the ability to build compelling business cases and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead discussions with both business and technical leaders, navigating organizational hurdles and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their potential applications within software development.
  • Industry expertise within healthcare, financial services, automotive, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations to C-level executives.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • A forward-thinking and innovative mindset with a passion for driving growth.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $103,584 to $209,800. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
