About the Role

This highly visible and impactful role will lead the development and implementation of a Group-wide nature strategy. You will be at the forefront of setting and delivering nature-related KPIs, metrics, and targets, while championing sustainability across the organisation. You will work alongside senior leadership to integrate nature into business decision-making, create innovative solutions, and position the organisation as a global thought leader in nature finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a transformative nature strategy that aligns with the organisation's sustainability goals and ensures global leadership on nature issues.
• Metrics and Reporting: Develop and embed cutting-edge nature-related KPIs, targets, and metrics across business units, ensuring compliance with frameworks like TNFD, SBTN, and ISSB.
• Collaboration and Influence: Work cross-functionally to align diverse teams, inspire change, and create synergies across the organisation and its markets.
• Innovation and Thought Leadership: Spearhead innovation in nature finance, identifying opportunities for investment and insurance products that drive sustainable impact. Represent the organisation in prestigious alliances such as GFANZ, IUCN, and UNEP FI.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dynamic team of technical experts, fostering collaboration and professional growth while building an inclusive, high-performance culture.

• Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills to lead change in a complex, global organisation.
• A proactive, agile mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Demonstrated success in project and team leadership, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing colleagues.
