Mission

As a Financial Analyst, your mission is to provide actionable insights by analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and leveraging advanced tools like Power BI and Tableau. You will ensure compliance with US or AU financial regulations while supporting organizational goals through data-driven recommendations and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Present key findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Forecasting And Budgeting

  • Assist in creating accurate financial forecasts and budgets to guide business planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with US or AU financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial laws and regulations.

Strategic Planning Support

  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate new business opportunities and investment decisions.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Tool Utilization

  • Leverage advanced tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Navision for data analysis and reporting.
  • Streamline data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Risk Management

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and other teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

Problem-Solving: Address complex financial issues with creative and practical solutions.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years of solid experience as a Financial Analyst, with proven success working with US or AU clients.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Navision for data analysis and visualization.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with US or AU financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in data analysis, reporting, and ensuring accuracy.

Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying financial challenges and implementing solutions.
