About The Position
Velosio is looking for a Margin Assurance Analyst to be an integral member of the Finance Team.
As a margin assurance analyst at Velosio, you will be responsible in providing key financial and business analyst around the profitable growth of our subscription business with Microsoft and ISV. This role will support internal reporting and analysis across all subscription business to manage churn and find revenue opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of software products, vendor negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluation. This role involves in managing the procurement process, from requisition creation to purchase order generation, ensuring the organization’s needs are met efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Your Day Might Look Like
- Review and analyze our CSP billing for licensing, consumption and margin.
- Provide analysis of subscriptions and margins across our direct and indirect business vs Plan and Prior Months
- Assist in the annual operating plan creation related to the Subscription business
- Review and validate PO requests from internal departments, ensuring they are complete, accurate and within budget.
- Ensure all PO are properly coded and categorized based on the type of product or service required.
- Monthly subscription churn reporting and analysis
- Reconciliation between two systems is required on regular basis
- Track our recurring revenue in detail monthly for all recurring revenue and make recommendation on where we should focus time to generate additional business
- Suggest and implement improvements in subscription systems and tools to streamline billing, renewal, and cancellation processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, IT, legal, and business units to gather requirements and align on vendor selection.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on ISV vendor performance, issues, and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of ISV vendor management strategies and policies.
- Ensure the creation of accurate POs, reflecting proper pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Work with suppliers or vendors to obtain quotes and ensure that purchase orders align with the company’s procurement standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers or vendors to confirm orders, negotiate pricing or terms when necessary, and resolve issues related to POs.
- Ensure that all purchase orders comply with company policies, legal regulations, and internal controls.
- Support the implementation of procurement best practices and continuous improvements within the requisition-to-purchase order process.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years’ experience with financial reporting
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Ability to work independently with general guidance on new projects
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to support business needs
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools (e.g., BI 360)
- Familiarity with subscription billing, CRM, or ERP platforms
