Supervisor, General Ledger (Remote)

The Supervisor, General Ledger, will help lead the Accounting team; coordinate the work of a number of accountants., Ensure procedures are in place to provide timely and accurate processing of month-end/year-end journal entry submissions as well as monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate financial controls are followed to support the integrity of the accounting system and safeguard the company’s assets.

As Supervisor, General Ledger, you will

• Review journal entries and aid in the monthly close process
• Lead team and assist in professional development; set team goals annually and monitor quarterly to ensure achievement
• Review account reconciliations, continuously working to streamline and automate the reconciliation process
• Assist AP/AR Manager with review of processes as needed
• Supervise and coach direct reports and staff
• Assist in reviewing audit support
• Continuously improve processes to minimize costs
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivilant experience
• Adaptable and open to learn
• Focus on continuous development and improvement
• Extensive experience in general ledger accounting
• Proficiency with ERPs, Peoplesoft and/or SAP preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) preferred

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Supervisor, G/L is between $65,000 and $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
