Role summary:

The Associate Creative Director will lead a creative team in the US, collaborating effectively with global teams to deliver innovative and client-centric creative solutions. This role demands a balance between strong leadership, creative excellence, and a focus on upskilling the team in the latest technologies and trends. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative environment that cultivates creativity and innovation, ensuring that the team’s output aligns with client objectives and global creative standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

Provide direction and mentorship to the US design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Facilitate regular feedback and performance reviews to promote professional growth and skill development within the team.

Encourage a client-centric approach in all creative endeavors, aligning team efforts with client expectations and brands’ objectives.

  • Collaboration with Global Teams:

Work closely with global creative teams to ensure consistency and excellence across all projects and initiatives.

Share insights, creative ideas, and best practices from the US team with global counterparts to enhance collective output.

Participate in cross-regional projects, adapting strategies and approaches that reflect both local and global perspectives.

  • Client-Centric Creative Output:

Lead the development of innovative creative concepts that are tailored to meet client needs and objectives.

Engage with clients to gather feedback and insights that inform the creative process, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Oversee the quality of creative deliverables from the US team, ensuring alignment with client brand identities and strategic goals.

  • Tech & Innovation Upskilling:

Identify and integrate the latest technologies and design trends into the team’s creative processes.

Initiate training programs and workshops to upskill the team on new tools, software, and creative methodologies.

Foster an innovative mindset within the team, encouraging experimentation and exploration of new creative avenues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years in a creative role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in an agency or similar environment.

Proven track record managing and leading design teams to success with client-centric projects.

  • Creative Skills:

Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects, emphasizing innovation and strategic thinking.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies such as AR/VR and interactive design.

  • Leadership and Communication:

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration across teams and with clients.

  • Strategic Thinking:

Ability to think strategically about creative solutions, aligning design objectives with client goals and market trends.

Experience in developing and implementing creative strategies that drive client success.

  • Innovation and Adaptability:

A strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and industry trends.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Client Management:

    Experience in client-facing roles with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

    Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate creative concepts to clients and stakeholders.

    Work Details:

    ● Location: Remote - United States

    ● Salary Range: $80k - $110k
