We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the back-end systems that power our mobile applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, database teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, maintainable back-end systems using Ruby on Rails.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with mobile applications built in React Native.
Collaborate with database teams to design efficient schemas using PostgreSQL.
Ensure the back-end systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into the application architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging back-end development trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in back-end development with Ruby on Rails.
Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of database design and management with PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Node.js for back-end or API development.
Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for cross-team collaboration.
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional frameworks or technologies such as MongoDB or Python.
Familiarity with mobile development frameworks, particularly React Native.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
