Currently, we are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:

Position: Senior Backend Python Developer
Location: Colombia (Remote)

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead the development of scalable backend systems using Python and Django.
Architect, build, and maintain high-performance APIs with Django Rest Framework (DRF).
Optimize database schemas and complex SQL queries for large-scale applications.
Enhance caching strategies with Redis to improve system efficiency.
Leverage AWS services, including S3, for cloud-based application needs.
Oversee asynchronous task processing using Celery.
Drive best practices in version control and CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket.
Provide mentorship and guidance to mid-level developers, fostering continuous improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Main Tech Skills:

5+ years of experience in backend development with Python and Django.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with performance optimization.
Expertise in Redis for caching and distributed systems.
Solid experience with AWS services, particularly S3.
Extensive experience with Celery for task management.
Mastery of Django Rest Framework for building scalable APIs.

Secondary Tech Skills:

Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
Exceptional understanding of code organization, modularity, and maintainability.
Adept at identifying and resolving system performance bottlenecks.
