AVER is seeking a Master Scheduler, who will develop, and maintain a Microsoft Project (MSP) resource loaded schedule and provide PMO analysis support.Join a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.
Responsibilities Include:
Create, update, and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on Work Breakdown Structure
Manage and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by working with the Technical Team Leads to determine their critical tasks, identify milestones, and associate interdependencies across the program
Advise Program Control and Technical Team Leads in detailed project planning and scope development for modernization efforts
Develop achievable master schedule critical path for project, program, and milestones
Prepare project and program status reports based on current and forecast schedules; implement and maintain schedule change control
Conduct and facilitate weekly IMS reviews with program team
Prepare trend analysis to identify problem areas and submit recommendations for corrective actions
Actively monitor program performance metrics by providing independent assessments of performance issues to upper management
Develop scheduling status reports and regular schedule deliverables, which are reviewed at Program Management meetings
Create and maintain a PMO Quality Management Plan
Perform quality assurance and quality control of internal and external products
Define and facilitate a process for review and acceptance of program deliverables by the PMO and stakeholders
Maintain all vendor deliverables in a Knowledge Management system
Define and facilitate a process for reviewing program produced artifacts, to include DHS Acquisition Lifecycle (ALC) documentation, System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) documentation, program plans, and other documents
Ensure all government-produced documentation meets a high level of quality prior to finalization or staffing for approval
Track status of all internal and external products as they are drafted, reviewed, approved, and archived
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business)
Experience Requirements:
Must be able to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex Government schedules
IMS creation and scheduling experience
Familiarity with determining the Critical Path and performing Schedule status updates, Schedule Risk Assessments
Experience with Risk Management
Proficiency in other office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and SharePoint)
Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules
Experience with re-sequencing of the IMS based upon Government Option Periods and changes
Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
Desired Requirements:
Familiarity with DHS Contracting environment
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Experience on large-scale development projects

Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
