Primary Purpose - 
·         Manage USE Master Database in collaboration with USE construction group. 
·         Provided Innovations support on project specific deliverables or database adjustments.
·         Facilitate the operation, development and training implementation of tools and workflows in collaboration with USE construction group.
·         Collaborate with Innovations VC Spooling Lead and DfMA Product Superintendent on database and deliverable components.
·         Responsible for management  and growth of VT Tech Group as direct reports.
·         Identify efficiency gains for the department as well as facilitate data export methods that benefit USE.
Reports To - Innovations Senior VC Manager
Principal Duties and accountabilities -
·         Responsible for managing the USE company "Master Database" on behalf of Innovations projects, including the continued efforts of performing QA/QC.
·         Collaborate with VC Leads, project managers and product superintendents on project specifications related to database and project deliverables.
·         Develop outputs to support unique project requirements and stringent specifications for example: ASME B31 Piping Codes.
·         Responsible for helping ensure maximum efficiency through use of standardizing workflows and processes.
·         Must keep current on industry software and hardware developments and proposes/implements new technologies or industry best practices as necessary.
·         Assists Senior VC Manager around decision related to the VC Tech group; including determining staffing levels, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, etc.
·         Partners with peers and USE VC Construction to ensure a "one-company one team'' focus and knowledge sharing.
·         May participate in or coordinate special assignments related to department administration in order to improve operational efficiencies.
·         Assist in Implementing operational objectives and goals for the team of VC Leads/Techs that support the overall business operation plan. 
·         Responsible for assessing and developing VC Tech team members.
·         Assist Senior VC Manager in the development and nurturing of client relationships.
·         Assist Senior VC Manager in coordinating office training and meetings.
Job Scope -
·         The USEI VC Dev Manager will be responsible for ensuring all Innovations specific project database and deliverable requirements are achieved.
·         The USEI VC Dev Manager will collaborate routinely with VC/PM/PS and other USEI team members to facilitate overall company operational objectives.
·         The USEI VC Dev Manager will act as direct report for Innovations VC Tech's.
·         The USEI VC Dev Manager will be a trusted advisor with USE Construction VC.
Competencies -
·         Thorough understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
·         Knowledge of mechanical construction operations, principles and processes, including project life-cycle.
·         Advanced proficiency in the use of computer aided drafting software:  AutoCAD and/or Revit; NavisWorks; AutoCAD and /or Revit MEP, Autodesk Fabrication, and related line of products.
·         Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet search engines.
·         Proven ability to lead and manage a team to achieve results, despite multiple and changing priorities.
·         Proven collaborator – able to facilitate cooperation among teams and individuals.
·         Excellent communication skills – including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from engineers, groups, managers, clients, etc.
·         Excellent analytical skills.
·         Knowledge of most current industry technology, and ability to lead team to adapt to changing technology / computer systems, software, etc.
·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
·         Ability to read, understand and interpret structural and architectural drawings, and other construction documents.

Benefits and Compensation:
  • The range for this position has been established at $100,500 to $142,000 and is US Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
  • Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. An industry-leading benefits package including health, dental, and vision plans, matching retirement contributions, and matching 529 contributions all add to your bottom line.
