Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Director to join a cutting-edge proprietary trading firm with a strong global presence. Established in 2017, the company has leveraged over two decades of market trading experience to specialize in navigating complex financial markets through comprehensive research, market microstructure analysis, and liquidity management. With over 200 employees working remotely worldwide, the firm emphasizes algorithmic trading strategies backed by rigorous testing to achieve high-speed and efficient trading outcomes. The company operates in key financial markets across the United States, Switzerland, Dubai, Cyprus, Hong Kong, and Brazil, supporting both traditional and cryptocurrency trading.

         What You'll Be Doing
  • Oversee and optimize the entire delivery lifecycle (optimization towards the decrease of TTM), ensuring alignment with business objectives and high-quality outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the engineering department, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in engineering processes and organizational design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business and technical requirements.
  • Drive the efficient management of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
  • Implement and promote data-driven strategies and agile methodologies across teams.
  • Lead quality management initiatives to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative culture and ensure smooth coordination between engineering, trading, and operations teams.


    What We Look For In You
  • 10+years of experience in technology management roles within Capital Markets or quantitative trading domains, preferably at buy-side firms or HFT organizations. Experience in organizations during the scale-up (storming/forming) phase.
  • Proven expertise in project management, delivery management, design, and optimization of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in programming languages like C++, Rust, C#, or Java, particularly with trading platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in designing and scaling engineering organizations: team structures, processes, incentive schemes, goals, performance indicators, architecture, and tech stack management.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and metrics-driven decision-making.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate development investments and measure the ROI of tech decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a data-driven and structured approach to communication.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with experience working in global, remote-first teams.
