About This Role

                                                                                                         

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree 

Internship date : May 5th to August 22 2025

The role we are offering you: 

 

By joining our Montreal Health, Safety and Environment team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of health, safety, and environment procedures by improving risk management related to critical risks such as lockout and contractor management. Areas of health and safety that will undoubtedly serve you in your future career. 

 

  • Actively participate in updating contractor management and lockout programs (forms, procedures, lists, training, etc.) 

  • Perform audits on these programs 

  • Write evaluation reports 

  • Assist and support other team members by participating in various tasks or activities 

 

Our ideal candidate has: 

  • Theoretical knowledge of the principles of lockout and health and safety. 

  • Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office suite) 

  • Ability to work in a team 

  • Ease of collaboration with different stakeholders 

  • Adaptability and flexibility 

  • To be rigorous 

  • Focused on effective communications and information sharing 

  • Open-mindedness and friendliness 

  • Bilingual French and English an asset 

 

Preferred Education 

  • Pursuing a degree in Health and safety, industrial engineering or related field 

 

Location of the internship is Montreal. 

 

Internship will be carried out in person. 

 

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.  

 

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
