Job description

Why Work Here?

MorganFranklin Cyber helps clients across the globe solve their most critical cybersecurity needs. From consulting and implementation to managed services and project resourcing, we work to safeguard assets by identifying risks, developing, and maturing cybersecurity programs, and implementing solutions that support and meet business goals. Custom-tailored and business-aligned service offerings include:

  • Strategy and GRC
  • Architecture, Engineering, & Infrastructure/OT (AEGIS)
  • Cyber Fusion Center
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Cyber & Operational Resilience (CORe)

What Will You Do?

This internship is a 10-week immersive experience that provides direct exposure into one or more of these areas of cybersecurity with real world deliverables for our clients.  In addition, you will be provided education in all pillars of Cybersecurity (Strategy, Governance, Risk, and Compliance; Identity & Access Management; Architecture, Engineering, & Infrastructure/OT; Cyber & Operational Resilience; Cyber Fusion Center) directly from those delivering on these services in the field.

This experience will include a mentor dedicated to you, as well as regular touchpoints with our program lead and other interns.  All of this, paired with virtual (and potentially in-person) networking events and a joint project/presentation with fellow interns, will prove to be a fulfilling experience for any entry-level cybersecurity professional.

  • Program will run from June 2 to August 8, 2025 (10 weeks)
  • Training and feedback will be provided throughout the term
  • The program includes an internal team assignment which will culminate in a presentation to leadership at the end of the term
  • Offers will be presented in March

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Focus of study in IT or Business (including Project Management) with a strong interest in Cybersecurity
  • Completed Sophomore year or equivalent by start of internship
  • Be a team player who has exceptional written and oral skills
  • Willingness to learn and take advantage of educational opportunities
  • Must be available to work full time for the full 10 weeks of the program - June 2 to August 8, 2025
  • This will be a predominantly virtual role, but limited travel may be required (required travel reimbursed)
  • Willing to submit to background check and drug testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good energy and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work across teams and business domains
  • Excited for a dynamic career in Cybersecurity
