Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a dedicated focus on AWS, infrastructure as code (IaC), systems design, SaaS high-volume applications, security, and high availability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams and other infrastructure professionals to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support high-volume SaaS applications in collaboration with development teams.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide scalable infrastructure solutions.
Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems.
Design and implement solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure, proactively addressing issues and identifying areas for improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related experience.
Proven experience in designing and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
Dedicated expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
In-depth understanding of systems design principles and best practices.
Experience with SaaS high-volume applications and associated challenges.
Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and implementation.
Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with development teams and other infrastructure professionals.
