Job Title: Remote QA Engineer (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,300 - 4,320 USD/month depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, with at least 5 hours of overlap with PST

We are seeking a QA Engineer to assess software quality through a combination of manual and automated testing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for quality assurance. You’ll play a pivotal role in the development lifecycle, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Define and create test cases based on acceptance criteria and industry best practices.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and provide validation.
• Develop and maintain automated integration and UI tests to enhance regression coverage.
• Conduct manual test case execution and release regression testing as needed.
• Collaborate with developers to review acceptance criteria and ensure unit test coverage.
• Update and expand automated regression test suites and UI functional test coverage.
• Contribute to the development of test frameworks and services.
• Participate in shaping the long-term vision for QA and Test Automation.
• Integrate testing seamlessly into the development process.
• Report and track bugs throughout the entire bug lifecycle.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (required).
• Experience with CodeceptJS and K6 is a plus.
• Proven experience writing test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium (required).
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
