Devops Engineer

At Aluxion we are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of one of our client projects.

About the Role

This is a flexible, part-time role for a DevOps Engineer who will work closely with our internal team to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our AWS-based infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, monitoring, and automation.

Job details

• 100% remote position 
• Part time role
• Work remotely from any country within the European Union.
• 3 month project

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using best practices.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure by implementing robust IAM policies and security best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operational excellence.
• Stay updated on the latest DevOps technologies and best practices.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven experience in DevOps with a strong focus on AWS services, especially EKS.
• Proficiency in Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security practices and IAM policies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes optimization.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of security tools like Trend Micro.
• Experience with MongoDB.
