We are looking for a candidate who is inspired by our mission of providing individualized, holistic treatment programming that is built on the foundation of our Adaptive Care Model®. This allows our treatment teams to address and help heal all areas of clients’ lives – including relational and movement-related challenges that often go untreated with traditional ED care models.


The Role

As the Regional Outreach Director, the Adolescent Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to lead Alsana's go-to-market efforts for its newest service line: adolescent virtual eating disorder treatment. Your role will be pivotal in defining how this program grows and sets the stage for expansion. As a key member of the outreach team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding strategic partnerships with adolescent-focused providers. Your mission will be cultivating this network of providers to establish Alsana as the go-to resource for adolescent eating disorder treatment and highlight the unique advantages our v.IOP and v.PHP offer to clients. This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership, relationship building, and community engagement, with the ultimate goal of transforming access to care for adolescents in need.


Key Responsibilities

50% Relationship Prospecting & Building: 

· Proactively prospect and engage with new adolescent professionals in the community to establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships.

· Act as a liaison between Alsana and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. 

· Develop and execute a comprehensive prospecting strategy to generate new business opportunities through various channels including cold outreach, referrals, email campaigns, and networking events 

· Partner with internal teams to ensure partnerships are properly implemented and processes / operations are set up to drive a successful partnership 

· Serve as the primary point of contact between Alsana and partner organizations, ensuring ongoing needs are met and maintaining a client-centric focus 

· Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to accurately track partnership activities, communication, and market data 

· Align to the key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives. Track and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and identify areas for optimization and improvement 

· Track referral sources, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.


20% Education and Training: 

· Provide educational materials and presentations to mental health professionals about Alsana's approach, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices. 

· Organize training sessions or workshops to enhance providers' understanding of the unique benefits Alsana offers to clients. 

· Stay updated on industry trends and research to effectively communicate Alsana's position as a leader in the field of eating disorder treatment. 


30% Referral Management:

 · Capture and Manage Referrals: Ensure all incoming referrals are documented accurately in Salesforce and routed appropriately. 

· Admissions Collaboration: Partner closely with the admissions team to identify and address gaps in the admissions process, providing actionable recommendations to move cases forward. 

· Process Improvement: Deliver continuous feedback to enhance communication workflows between referrals, admissions, and referring providers, ensuring a seamless experience. 

· Stakeholder Alignment: Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders, including providers, parents, admissions, and clinical teams, to align messaging and streamline the referral-to-admission process. 

· Data Management: Ensure Salesforce is updated with all referral data, tracking progress and outcomes for accurate reporting and follow-up. 

· Provider Relations: Build and maintain excellent relationships with referring providers by offering updates and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the admissions process. 

· Confidentiality and Ethics: Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards while acting as a professional liaison, supporting each referral with care and respect. 

· Post-Admission Communication: Ensure that referring teams are informed and engaged throughout the admissions process and after the client has been admitted, fostering trust and partnership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Education: 

· Bachelor degree required, Masters degree preferred.

· Prior experience working in a sales or outreach role required. 

· Experience working within the behavioral health industry with eating disorder marketing experience preferred.

· Must be located in or around Calabasas, Long Beach, Orange Beach or Los Angeles territory to be considered.

Compensation range for this position is $90-115K Base, 25% bonus/comp plan, depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
