Overview

Transaction Network Services (TNS), a subsidiary of Koch Industries, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Labs. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets, develop advanced machine learning models, and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive data-driven decision-making and unlock actionable insights for the organization.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning to solve global business challenges.
Develop, train, and deploy predictive models using modern machine learning tools and frameworks.
Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to uncover patterns and trends.
Collaborate with domain experts and stakeholders to interpret requirements and deliver analytics-driven solutions.
Design and deploy scalable AI solutions using cloud engineering principles.
Partner with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
Implement MLOps practices for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Communicate insights through clear reports and visual presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Experience:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Telecomunications or related fields.
2+ years of professional experience in a data science role, focusing on production-grade solutions.
Background in telecommunications and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
Expertise in handling large datasets with emphasis on data privacy and security.

Technical Skills:

Strong Python skills and proficiency in data science frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Expertise in audio processing and natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., Docker, AWS EMR, AWS SageMaker).
Strong foundation in software engineering and development practices.
Knowledge of additional programming languages like Scala or Go is a plus.

Communication:

Proven record of verbal and written communication skills for engaging with international teams.
Ability to articulate complex analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
