Job description

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist I provides first-level use support to CTI Employees and sets up and maintains all phone and computer equipment.

What You'll Do

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Provide first-level support to all CTI employees for computer system hardware, software, and telecommunications
  • Procure and install all new electronic devices such as PCs; set up as required
  • Meet with all new employees and review setup and procedures for computer and telecommunication devices
  • Provide billable IT support to client projects
  • Assist with implementing and supporting third-party applications
  • Maintain CTI internal systems such as phones, copy machines, and other equipment
  • Proactively identify areas where technology can improve business processes and productivity
  • Train employees as needed on IT products and enhancements revolving around
  • Assist with testing and validation
  • Maintain necessary documentation as required by CTI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies; replenish as needed, while aggressively watching the budget
  • Meet all project deadlines on time and on budget
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide support to CTI employees for critical IT needs outside of regular business hours

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with Desktops, Laptops, and First-Level Support issues, in a complex IT environment
  • Preferred: Experience with Active Directory and Office 365
