Director of Alliances – Oracle Business Unit

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Alliances to support and drive our partnership with Oracle, specifically focusing on the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and potentially Customer Experience (CX) platforms. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Alliances for the Oracle Business Unit and will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to strengthen our relationship with Oracle, grow our business pipeline, and enhance Argano’s brand within the Oracle ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to strengthen Argano’s partnership with Oracle on the EPM and CX platforms.
  • Support the ERP, SCM, and HCM divisions of our organization as needed.
  • Identify and prioritize key growth opportunities within the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Drive joint go-to-market strategies, including solution alignment and market positioning.

Business Development And Pipeline Generation

  • Leverage Oracle’s ecosystem to source and develop leads.
  • Collaborate with Oracle account teams to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Argano’s sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and sourcing efforts.

Partner Ecosystem Management

  • Build strong relationships with Oracle stakeholders, including product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Ensure Argano is aligned with Oracle’s strategic initiatives and market focus.
  • Represent Argano at Oracle events, conferences, and partner meetings to enhance our visibility and brand.
  • Nurture current relationships with our ISV partners and source new opportunities to build our ISV network.

Brand And Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns, demand generation activities, and abstract/award submissions.
  • Create compelling business development concepts and strategies to elevate Argano’s presence in the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Drive co-branded marketing efforts with Oracle to promote joint successes.

Operational Excellence

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and tracking progress against key partnership metrics.
  • Keen understanding of Salesforce and dashboards to measure success within the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Support Argano’s internal teams with strategic insights and partnership enablement.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience

  • 7-10+ years in an alliances, partnerships, or business development role, preferably within the Oracle ecosystem or a related technology space.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle’s EPM and CX platforms, as well as an understanding of Oracle Dimension programs and lead development strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong understanding of the Oracle partner ecosystem and its key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful partnership strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all alliance programs and initiatives. Align alliance strategies with overall business objectives and company vision. Lead the development and implementation of alliance frameworks and governance structures.
  • Leadership Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with leadership-level at partner organizations. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and network with potential partners. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements at the highest levels.
  • Revenue Generation and Business Growth: Drive significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships and alliances. Identify new revenue opportunities and innovative ways to monetize partnerships. Develop and implement joint go-to-market strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements in alliance engagements. Mitigate risks associated with partnerships through proactive risk management strategies. Monitor and address any compliance issues that may arise during alliance activities.
