Job description

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for the winter semester (with opportunity to extend into the summer). This part-time, fully remote role is designed for students or recent graduates who have a background in marketing through coursework, involvement in campus activities, or previous internships. If you have a flair for writing and a keen interest in social media and SEO, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

  • LinkedIn Strategy Execution: Help drive our current LinkedIn strategy by designing compelling graphics in Canva, crafting relevant post copy, engaging with thought leaders, and actively commenting with followers.
  • Social Media Expansion: Support the expansion of our social media presence on Instagram and YouTube. Repurpose existing LinkedIn content (such as carousels and webinar clips) to suit each platform and enhance user engagement.
  • Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify and qualify potential prospects for our outbound sales efforts.
  • SEO Content Creation: Develop SEO content briefs based on keyword research, adhering to SEO and helpful content best practices.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns: Build and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using Hubspot.
  • Content Optimization: Optimize existing content by adding relevant FAQs, updating outdated research, and interlinking newer content pieces.
  • Event Support: Assist with the promotion and operational aspects of in-person field events and virtual webinars.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing through previous internships, relevant coursework, or active involvement in related campus activities.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience designing in Canva.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content repurposing.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles; prior experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to use or quickly learn Hubspot and other relevant digital marketing tools.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
