About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive (AE) to drive the adoption and growth of StreamNative’s product portfolio. We seek a proactive team player who thrives on challenges and is eager to dive in and unlock StreamNative's vast potential. Key responsibilities will encompass pipeline development, contract negotiations, and attainment of revenue and branding objectives.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities within large, complex territories.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior executives and technical leaders to position StreamNative as a trusted partner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success, Support, and Marketing, to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Align StreamNative solutions with customer business strategies, challenges, and technical requirements to deliver exceptional value.
  • Represent StreamNative at industry events, building connections and uncovering opportunities.
  • Negotiate SaaS/cloud/software contracts and accurately forecast business on a quarterly basis.
  • Help shape scalable processes and contribute to strategic sales planning to accelerate growth.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple accounts to maintain a healthy pipeline and achieve sales targets.

 

About You

  • 3–5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing deals ranging from $500k to $2M.
  • Expertise in SaaS business models, Cloud, and Infrastructure software.
  • Significant experience in customer acquisition/“hunter” sales roles and developing net-new logos.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • High integrity, self-motivation, and a team-player mentality.
  • Prior experience in a startup technology company
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Kafka or similar technologies is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of data streaming systems like Kafka, Pulsar and / or event-driven architecture (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar or similar technologies).
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Challenger.
  • Experience selling C/OSS as well as COTS software

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year, depending on experience and location. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, commission, and equity options.
