Job description

Cook’s Direct, Inc., located in Woodridge, Illinois), is a distributor and the reselling leader of commercial kitchen supplies and equipment for large volume foodservice operations. Our employees strive to provide the best products and most knowledgeable response to our customers. This is a hybrid position - 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.
We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join our team! 
The Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming phone calls to our team. They will be responsible for greeting visitors, routing phone calls, and entering sales orders in our ERP system. They will also assist with a variety of administrative and office tasks and report directly to the Sales Support Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the front line on our phone queue to answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Greet all visitors to the building and notify the appropriate parties of their arrival.
  • Enter sales orders for accounts that are not assigned to a specific Sales Support Representative.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks around the office, such as filing, stocking the kitchen with snacks, setting up for meetings, etc.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers and vendors.
A Typical Day:
  • Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate team member.
  • Enter sales orders in the ERP system.
  • Communicate with our sales and support teams regarding customer inquiries.
  • Welcome and greet visitors to our office.
  • Complete administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software.
