To play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of payments for our organization. You will be responsible for analyzing payment data, identifying discrepancies, resolving issues, and optimizing payment processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming and outgoing payments accurately and promptly using various payment methods and platforms.
• Analyze payment data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including missing payments, overpayments, and rejections.
• Reconcile payment records with bank statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing payment processing and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of payment transactions, adjustments, and resolutions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to address payment-related issues and ensure smooth processing.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in payment processing, financial analysis, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage servicing platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of payment and servicing regulations
• Ability to handle complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
