Job description

Responsible for replying to web-form inquiries submitted to Integra Partners from our provider/plan partners. Responsible for the review of DME claims for billing accuracy. Responsible for the investigation of root cause and for delivering a solution to our clients in a succinct, professional, and timely manner.  Must maintain appropriate documentation and account records and ensure all work is in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal Integra policies and procedures, as applicable (including, but not limited to HIPAA compliance) at all times.

Salary: $19.00/hour

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
 
  • Ability to work with multiple health plan payors and remain flexible in day-to-day assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to respond professionally and thoroughly to provider inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Must be self-motivated to use available resources to investigate and problem solve.
  • Understand and perform duties in compliance with State and Federal regulations and the policies and procedures of Integra Partners and our clients.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to meet consistent and punctual attendance expectations.
  • Must be flexible and willing to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Must be committed to adding value and contribute positively to the company and department.
  • Accountable for daily productivity goals at or above the current production metric
  • Must maintain a minimum bandwidth internet service of 200 MPS download speed to adequately perform daily job duties.
  • Maintain a climate of teamwork and collaborative problem solving.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school diploma required

EXPERIENCE:
  • Former medical billing experience required.
  • Strong computer/keyboarding skills – including all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with an ability to learn new programs where applicable.
  • Familiarity with 1500 claim forms and DMEPOS services
  • Familiarity of ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology
  • Must be able to correctly read and assess medical documents and resources.
  • Motivated and able to work independently within a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Must be reliable and meet attendance expectations.
