SAP Strategic Engagement Director

Job Summary

The SAP Strategic Engagement Director is a key position responsible for driving the company's overall strategic engagement and growth initiatives. This role involves shaping the organization's long-term vision, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring high-level client satisfaction. They focus only on complex client relationships and may mentor or guide other engagement positions.

Responsabilities

  • Define and execute the company's strategic engagement and growth strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry partners and clients at the executive level.
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior leaders, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, positioning the company as an industry leader.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to shape organizational strategies and policies.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, expected.
  • MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD, preferred.

Experience

  • 15+ years of advanced experience in the technology or consulting industry.
  • Must have 5-7 years of leading clients along their SAP roadmap including oversight of numerous parallel SAP-centered client initiatives
  • Proven track record of driving organizational growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and innovation.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Skill Requirements –

  • Client Interaction: Ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships. Assist in understanding client needs and expectations. Contribute to client presentations and meetings.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales process, including proposal development and presentations. Assist in achieving sales targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Update clients on project progress and address concerns.
  • Client Management Skills: Lead client engagement efforts, understanding and aligning with client objectives. Identify opportunities for additional services and revenue growth. Resolve client issues and concerns promptly.
  • Sales and Revenue: Ability to collaborate with sales teams to develop business opportunities. Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Contribute to the development of strategic client engagement plans. Align client objectives with the overall business strategy.
  • Negotiation and Influence: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients. Influence key decision-makers within the client organization.
  • Business Development Skills: Drive overall business development strategy. Lead the identification and pursuit of large-scale opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to industry thought leadership. Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
