ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Positions Tucker as a superior vendor to its customers, a superior customer to its vendors, a superior employer to its staff, and as a fully compliant taxpayer to local, state, and federal regulators, by:
- Ensuring timely invoicing to customers, timely vouchering and payment to vendors, and timely and accurate accounting for all business operations
Trial balance accuracy
- General ledger maintenance including current and prior period adjustments
- Accuracy in GAAP based accounting, including monthly journal entries and adjustments in proper periods
- Timely resolution of AR and AP exceptions (including consistent collaboration with other departments)
- Accuracy in management of accounts receivable and accounts payable sub ledgers
- Auditing of expenses and expense accounts to ensure proper recording and G/L allocations
- Management of corporate credit cards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting Controller in overseeing purchase/lease/finance/banking activities and record-keeping of corporate resources by maintaining records related to this activity and providing data, reports, and information to aid decision-making
Informing the accountable Tucker staff of any new vendor agreements to assist the company with its contract management, storage, and retrieval process and in keeping compliant with the company’s Critical Vendor policy
