We are searching for a Senior Category Analyst, KAM to join our team located near our Corporate Headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. This position is remote, however, preference will be given to applicants located in the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Senior Category Management Analyst, you will p rovide direct support for RCP Key Account Management (KAM) customers for all our categories and across multiple retailer channels, including Food, Mass, Military, Club, and Drug. You will also have internal stakeholders that include the KAM Category Management and Sales teams along with Business Unit leadership.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Provide support to our customers and key stakeholders by way of providing analytics on multiple categories both internally and externally utilizing internal data, syndicated data and retailer provided data; to include sales, category, marketing, retailer merchants, financial planners, and space planning.
  • Actively involved in utilization of space management technologies and applications when called upon by our retailer partners.
  • Provide retail customers and Reynolds internal management with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting according to their needs.
  • Establish strong working relationships, internally and externally, focused on the KAM business across to which you are assigned, with a goal of streamlining collaboration and communication and driving profitable results for the organization as well as our business partners.
  • Support Sales and Category Management teams on special projects.
  • Meet regularly with Category and Sales teams to assist in developing appropriate insights to business issues through the mining of data that will drive increased sales and profits for the retailer’s category and RCP brands.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of related professional Category Management/Analytical experience in a CPG company, brokerage firm, or retailer.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  • Experience understanding, utilizing, and employing syndicated data, customer loyalty/POS data, and panel data.
  • Proficient in gathering, compiling, and analyzing data from multiple sources to create impactful analytics and selling stories in delivering actionable insights.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills; Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
