The Opportunity

Europe Express seeks an expert, dynamic, travel industry professional to lead our inside sales team. The Reservations Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of 9 Europe specialists while supporting the goals of the entire Inside Sales Department.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Actively leading a sales team of up to 9 sales agents to drive performance to goals
  • Ensure sales objectives are being met which includes setting weekly/monthly/annual targets, all agent metrics, and supervising individual progress toward company goals
  • Daily management of team sales pipelines, assignment rotations, and SLA adherence
  • Lead effective 1 to 1 meeting for own direct reports to include performance reviews and mentor sessions
  • Participate in Department meetings and training
  • Collaborate with Peers to identify and improve processes to positively impact the team
  • Drive customer experience and remain available to resolve service escalation issues directly with our partners
  • Assist management with daily duties in their absence
  • Build and cultivate an atmosphere encouraging teamwork within the entire Company
  • Participate in the department’s emergency duty rotation, which includes being on-call for approximately one week per 2 to 3 months, while adhering to our emergency duty operational standards
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

  • Five+ years of successful sales experience in the Travel Industry
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Flexibility to travel and to work weekends
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of employees
  • Call center experience is desirable
  • A college degree in Tourism Management or a related field is helpful
  • Highly focused on internal and external customer solutions and satisfaction
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, reservations systems, Salesforce, and GDS, preferably Amadeus
  • Proven track record of working under pressure and meeting deadlines, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
