Senior Technical PreSales Engineer

Join Epicor as a PreSales Engineer! The Technical PreSales Engineer, Sr serves as a trusted partner to the salesforce (direct and channel) by providing in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close sales opportunities. This role will be responsible for solutions within the Epicor retail product lines.

What You'll Be Doing

• Communicate with the sales team on new business opportunities, translate client’s technical requirements to a solution, drive the technical discussions, deliver custom demonstrations, and implement technical proofs-of-concept
• Leverage internal and external APIs and iPaaS platforms for building integrations
• Establish outstanding business relationships and partnerships with the clients by demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, understand performance characteristics and establish credibility with the clients
• Influence target clients by presenting company products values and benefits and by demonstrating product architectures and assisting with cost evaluation and pricing issues
• Coach and mentor other Solution Engineers ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery
• Gather requirements and present to Product Development team
  
  

What You'll Likely Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of experience of presales within the retail ERP industry or equivalent technical experience
• Experience with the following technologies: REST APIs, iPaaS platforms (Workato preferred), PostgreSQL, Domo BI, Cloud architecture (AWS preferred), AWS Application containerization, Development with javascript, python or similar langauges
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
• Experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
• 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 2+ years of specialized/industry
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

Range

Minimum: $80,000.00 USD Maximum: $180,000.00 USD

The salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
