As an HPC/AI Sales Executive with a focus on sales engineering, you will drive high-level sales initiatives in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and high-performance computing (HPC) environments, partnering closely with the engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge networking solutions. This role requires a unique blend of sales and technical skills to lead proactive campaigns, develop customer solutions, and manage client relationships from proposal through to installation and support. You’ll be responsible for pursuing new business, enhancing existing relationships, and serving as a technical consultant, demonstrating how our solutions add value and address specific client needs.
Location Requirements:
This is a remote position anywhere in the U.S.
If you live near Irvine, CA or Austin, TX, you must be able to work from Axiom’s Austin or Irvine office 2-3 days a week.
As the HPC/AI Sales Executive - Networking Specialist for our growing customer base your key responsibilities include:
Sales Focus: Drive AI/ML and HPC sales, actively seeking new opportunities and building the pipeline in assigned specialty areas.
Account Management: Expand and enhance existing accounts, positioning our products and services strategically within client accounts.
Consultative Relationship Building: Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs.
End-to-End Sales Process: Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Technical Engagement: Engage with clients at all levels, including C-level executives, and support complex solutions in smaller accounts.
Renewal Strategy: Manage contract renewals in medium-complexity accounts to ensure high renewal rates and increased contract values.
To be a good fit for this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, particularly within the Hyper Scale and Co-Location sectors.
Proven success in achieving high sales quotas.
Experience in HPC/AI solution sales is required.

Compensation Range: $100k base plus commissions. There is no cap on commissions.
